Job description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager, with good understanding of Aerospace EASA/FAA regulations of Initial Airworthiness and Part 21. Production Manager will be managing Production and release of fabricated thermoplastic parts to Airlines and MROs with CofC and EASA Form 1. He will be in the forefront of building Cabin parts Digital Inventory, Reverse engineering legacy parts, “fit-checking” new AM parts on the Aircraft.

1.OBJECTIVE:

Manage the day-to-day production operations, including production planning, oversight, safety, and compliance monitoring. Key responsibility – ensure conformity of produced parts to approved design data and release parts to Airlines and MROs with CofC and EASA Form 1.

2.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Becoming proficient in AFS production technology (FDM Additive Manufacturing), and subsequent post-processing of plastic Cabin parts.
  • Becoming proficient in EASA regulatory requirements of Initial Airworthiness of EASA approved Part 21G production organization.
  • Liaison with Design Organizations, ensuring that the required design data, drawings, manufacturing data are available, verified, and current.
  • Managing and controlling the production process, including proper manufacturing data, machine set‑up, post-processing, quality assurance, non‑conformities, part marking, proper packaging and release to Customers with EASA Form 1 or CofC.
  • Ensuring that production equipment and tools are timely maintained and calibrated, raw materials and spares timely procured, stored and accounted.
  • Ensuring that all audit follow‑up actions, and remedial actions are executed in a timely manner, as per Quality Management System and Safety Management System.
  • Within the scope of AS9100 certified production, lead the Engineering work of 3D scanning, Reverse engineering and production of Aerospace tooling, including thermoplastic tooling for Aircraft Engine and Wheels.
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all workers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Plan and organize training for Production personnel for continuous learning in Production technology, Airworthiness compliance, Safety, Information security and other Part 21G domains.
3.REQUIREMENTS:
  • Very good English – both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in CAD, MS Excel (knowledge of Solid Works).
  • At least 2 years in Production/Manufacturing Design, including 1 year in a supervisory role (e.g. leading teams or shifts).
  • Demonstrates practical understanding of Part‑21G processes like conformity to design data and EASA Form 1 issuance.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance (QA) in Aerospace, including internal audits, non‑conformance management, and occurrence reporting.
  • Previous experience in Part 21 organizations (G or J) will be considered an advantage.
  • Highly punctual when working with documentation and data from various documents.
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
