Job description

Doodle Labs is a fast-growing technology company building next-generation wireless networking solutions for robotics, autonomy, and defense applications. As we scale production, product quality and inspection rigor are critical to ensuring reliable performance in demanding, real-world environments.
We’re hiring a hands-on Product Quality Control Engineer to execute inspections, perform functional and RF testing validation, and reduce defects across internally manufactured products. This is an execution-focused, individual contributor role for someone who enjoys working close to the hardware and taking ownership of product quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Execute End-to-End Product Inspections

  • Perform raw material, in-process, and final inspections to ensure 100% compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality criteria prior to shipment.
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and workmanship inspections across assembled products.

Execute Functional & RF Testing Validation

  • Perform hands-on functional and RF test execution to validate product performance against defined specifications.
  • Use test equipment to verify pass/fail results and identify anomalies requiring investigation
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering to resolve test-related quality issues.

Reduce Defects Through Data-Driven Quality Execution

  • Track inspection and test results to identify recurring defects and quality trends.
  • Document nonconformances and inspection rejections.
  • Contribute to measurable defect reduction over time.

Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

  • Own inspection and test-driven CAPAs from issue identification through verification of corrective actions.
  • Help prevent repeat defects in future builds.

Support Manufacturing & Shipment Readiness

  • Work closely with internal manufacturing teams to complete inspections and testing on time without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Serve as a trusted quality partner on the production floor.

Maintain Documentation & Audit Readiness

  • Maintain clear inspection and test records.
  • Support periodic internal and external audits by providing documentation and process walkthroughs when required.

Additional Role & Responsibilities

  • To be main in-charge for some task and assignment. Immediate Superior may from time to time assign additional tasks and projects to the Incumbent
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Products consistently pass inspection and functional/RF testing prior to shipment.
  • Defects are identified early and trend downward over time.
  • Manufacturing trusts inspection and test results.
  • Quality execution scales with production growth.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Hands-on experience executing inspections and functional testing in hardware-focused environments (electronics, RF, aerospace, robotics, or adjacent industries).
  • Comfort working from drawings, specifications, and test criteria.
  • Hands-on experience with functional and/or RF test execution.
  • Experience documenting nonconformances and supporting corrective actions.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and effective in fast-paced production settings.
