Job summary

A leading derivatives exchange in Singapore is seeking a Product Manager (Iron Ore) to develop and manage physical deliverable iron ore futures. Responsibilities include leading the design process, liaising with various market participants, and formulating strategies to enhance trading volume and liquidity. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field along with at least 5 years of experience in commodities or futures, particularly with iron ore markets. Excellent communication skills are crucial.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in commodities, metals, or derivatives/futures.
• Experience in product development or exchange/commodity trading is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of iron ore physical deliverable futures.
• Liaise with traders, brokers, miners, steel mills, and logistics partners.
• Design and refine the physical delivery and settlement processes.
• Develop product and commercial strategy to grow trading volume and liquidity.
• Work with internal teams on operations, risk, clearing, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop product and commercial strategy to grow trading volume and liquidity

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in commodities, metals, or derivatives/futures
• Strong knowledge of iron ore markets and physical logistics
• Experience in product development or exchange/commodity trading is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
