Job summary

A leading derivatives exchange in Singapore is seeking an experienced Product Manager for iron ore futures. You will lead the product's development and engage with stakeholders to enhance adoption and performance. Ideal candidates have over 5 years in commodities and a strong understanding of iron ore markets. This role offers a competitive salary and standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in commodities, metals, or derivatives/futures.
  • Experience in product development or exchange/commodity trading is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design and development of iron ore physical deliverable futures.
  • Liaise with traders, brokers, miners, and logistics partners.
  • Design and refine the physical delivery and settlement processes.
  • Develop product and commercial strategy to grow trading volume.
  • Work with internal teams on operations, risk, clearing, and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager (Iron Ore) to join a leading derivatives exchange. You will be responsible for developing and managing physical deliverable iron ore futures and working closely with market participants to drive product adoption and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design and development of iron ore physical deliverable futures
  • Liaise with traders, brokers, miners, steel mills, and logistics partners
  • Design and refine the physical delivery and settlement processes
  • Develop product and commercial strategy to grow trading volume and liquidity
  • Work with internal teams on operations, risk, clearing, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in commodities, metals, or derivatives/futures
  • Strong knowledge of iron ore markets and physical logistics
  • Experience in product development or exchange/commodity trading is preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
