About the Role
We are seeking an innovative Product Manager Investments to join our client’s team in Singapore. This role functions at the intersection of investments, financial technology, and efficiency through AI. You will be responsible for building and institutionalizing the investment infrastructure. This includes the design of portfolio frameworks, VCC sub fund structures, and advanced reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Product Strategy and Ownership
- Lead the lifecycle of investment products including discretionary portfolios and advisory frameworks.
- Manage the design and structural requirements of new VCC sub fund investment strategies.
- Work closely with the relationship team to support portfolio reviews, investment memos, and product communication.
- Enable client facing teams with clear product narratives, sales materials, and performance insights.
Platform and Portfolio Architecture
- Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks and allocation methodologies in collaboration with the investment team.
- Integrate AI and automation tools to streamline investment research, data synthesis, and operational workflows.
- Modernize the investment process by selecting and optimizing tools for order management and risk analytics.
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to standardize and automate investment tasks.
- Serve as the product owner for the investment tech stack and manage the integration of portfolio management systems and reporting infrastructure.
- Contribute to firm wide strategic initiatives including new product development and operating model enhancements.
Governance, Risk and Regulatory Alignment
- Ensure all investment products and workflows comply with MAS requirements, internal policies, and VCC governance frameworks.
- Embed controls, documentation standards, and audit trails into product design and investment processes.
- Support new product launches, changes, and enhancements with proper approvals, disclosures, and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Credentials
- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- CACS Paper 1 and 2 are preferred. Candidates who do not currently hold these certifications must successfully complete them within three months of joining the firm.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations, VCC structures, and investment governance frameworks is an advantage.
Professional Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in investment management, product management, investment strategy, or portfolio analytics.
- Strong exposure to multi asset portfolios and private markets within asset managers, family offices, or investment platforms.
- Prior experience in lean, entrepreneurial environments or family offices is an advantage.
