Job summary

A leading retail company in Singapore seeks an individual for the electrical department focusing on kitchen appliances. Responsibilities include assisting the manager in achieving sales targets, coordinating in-store activities, and engaging suppliers to enhance product selection. Applicants should have a diploma in Business or Marketing, and experience in retail management is preferred. Strong communication skills and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office will be advantageous.

Electrical department - Kitchen Appliances
Responsibilities
  • Assist Manager in Kitchen appliances to meet department sales & GP target, total income and vendor’s expectations.
  • Assist to review and process weekly store’s auto-replenishment on stock.
  • Plan and execute in-store activities on SDA, including in-store demo, new product launch, advertisement product solution etc.
  • Meeting with supplier on brand performance, and all other matters relating to SDA.
  • Meet and plan with suppliers on new model selection for SDA.
  • Plan and work with store Managers on roadshow and offsite events.
  • Planning of sore-wide promotion mechanism to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements
  • Passionate to work in a dynamic, fast paced retail industry and able to perform under pressure.
  • Team player, self-motivated, energetic personality.
  • Strong business acumen in Category management; Experience in product management or buying role from retailers, distributors or vendors would be a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office suite would be a plus.
  • Diploma in Business / Marketing or an equivalent discipline
