Job summary

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated, results-driven team players who can help us push MapleStorySEA to the next level. As the Product Executive, this role drives day-to-day operations, content planning, and cross-functional collaboration for MapleStorySEA. The Product Executive works closely with the Product Manager to uphold the game’s position in the market, support revenue growth, and ensure player satisfaction. This role requires hands‑on execution, ownership, and accountability, from driving initiatives to seeing them through and delivering measurable results. Key Responsibilities
  • Localize in-game content to align with marketability, player preferences, and regional/local culture.
  • Coordinate live operations, including resolving in-game incidents promptly with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee translation and adaptation of assets for Japanese IP collaborations, ensuring high-quality and culturally accurate content.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on user and gameplay trends, providing actionable insights to improve product metrics and KPIs.
  • Track campaign and feature performance, generating regular reports and dashboards.
  • Spot operational risks and propose solutions early to maintain product stability and service quality.
  • Work closely with marketing to plan and execute campaigns that drive acquisition, recall, retention, and spending.
  • Coordinate with developers, IT, QA, CS, and Marketing to ensure smooth product launches and feature rollouts.
  • Support GM/CS teams with accurate product information, tools, and reporting.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by providing insights from player feedback, user research, and data analysis.
  • Conceptualize improvements and feature ideas to enhance the player journey.
  • Ensure marketing and community initiatives are aligned with product objectives.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from planning to completion.
  • Support both online and offline events.
  • Execute ad hoc tasks and operational needs as directed by the Product Manager.
Job Requirements
Must‑Have Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Game Design, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong passion for games, especially MMORPGs, with understanding of gamer psychology and community behavior.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Fluency in Japanese (JP) is mandatory, to manage translations for JP IP collaborations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-driven with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Creative thinker who can balance player needs with business objectives.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills, with ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to analyze metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Detail-oriented, with the resilience to follow through until results are delivered.
  • Prior experience in gaming, publishing, or live operations is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with MapleStorySEA (post-2022 updates) is a big advantage.
Nice-to-Have
  • Proficiency in Korean, Mandarin, and other SEA languages (to handle cross-regional communications and additional IP collaborations).
  • Experience working directly with Japanese or Korean developers/IP owners, understanding their working styles and expectations.
  • Knowledge of MMORPG communities and gaming culture in SEA.
