Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple product variants from concept through design, development, test/validation, and manufacturing.
• Manage and coordinate engineers and specialists, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
• Develop and implement automation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce test time.
• Create and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising quality.
• Manage and support changes related to End of Life components.
• Support regulatory certifications to expand marketing efforts.
• Support clear documentation, datasheets, integration guides, App Notes towards customer support.

Job description

You will be required to work with cross-functional teams of RF, Software, Mechanical design, NPI, Operations and Manufacturing/Quality assurance to build the next generation of Doodle Labs' radio portfolio. The successful candidate will have significant experience in RF development, Product Engineering and manufacturing of Radio products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple product variants from concept through design, development, test/validation and manufacturing.
• Manage and coordinate engineers and specialists, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
• Develop and implement automation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce test time.
• Create and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising quality.
• Manage and support changes related to End of Life components.
• Support regulatory certifications to expand Doodle Labs marketing efforts.
• Support clear documentation, datasheets, integration guides, App Notes towards customer support.

Team Leadership

• Set release goals and timelines, and guide the team to fulfill the goals.
• Grow the Product Engineering team, including hiring and managing experienced and junior engineers.
• Work with in‑house and external teams and vendors.
