Job summary

A leading staffing solutions company in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Analyst to engage with stakeholders on procurement transactions. You will review ongoing and completed procurement activities and analyze open purchase orders. The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification and experience in public sector procurement, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. This role offers a dynamic environment where teamwork and effective time management are essential.

Qualifications

  • Procurement experience in the Public Sector with knowledge on Government Procurement procedures is advantageous.
  • Meticulous team worker who can deliver tasks with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Duration: 1 year
Location: Farrer Park
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 6pm; Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

What you'll do:
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders in a project involving the review of ongoing and completed procurement transactions. The review of procurement documents involves various procurement activities such as small value purchases (SVP), invitation to quote (ITQ) or invitation to tender (ITT) documents, period contract purchase order (PCPO); and relevant approval of requirement and/or specification of requirement.
  • Review and analysis of open purchase orders (POs) based on upcoming and/or overdue delivery dates, guiding internal stakeholders/requestors with necessary steps and/or actions to be taken to address the status of POs.
  • Facilitating troubleshooting issues and providing closure on the action.
Requirements:
  • Possess a tertiary qualification. Procurement experience in the Public Sector with knowledge on Government Procurement procedures, will be advantageous.
  • Possess good analytical skills and has effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders.
  • Meticulous team worker who is able to deliver tasks with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Good time management and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP would be an advantage.
