Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management. The role involves coordination with vendors, stock updates, and reconciliation of supplier statements. Candidates should have a diploma in Purchasing/Logistics and proficiency in MS Office applications. The ideal candidate is meticulous, resourceful, and able to work independently. Singaporean candidates are preferred.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Coordination with vendor for timely receipt of documentation (shipping documents, invoices, credit notes, etc.)
  • Timely update of stocks received into internal systems
  • Assist in monthly reconciliations of statement of accounts for key suppliers
  • Maintain tracking for all claims raised to key suppliers for shortages, damages & logistics issues
  • Validate invoices for payments (Storage/freight) for inventory maintained in 3PL warehouse
  • Item Master database maintenance
  • Maintenance of database of artworks for all key brands
  • Regular monitoring of stocks for short-dated stocks / slow moving stocks / surplus stocks & sending timely alerts to sales
  • Report discrepancies and damages to purchase leads and also record credit notes/vouchers and debit notes.
  • Prepare monthly market sales reports for submission to vendor
Experience & Qualification
  • Diploma in Purchasing/Logistics (preferred)
  • Minimum with 1-2 years of experience. Preference for knowledge of FMCG products
  • Basic understanding of end-to-end supply chain and vendor management
  • Ability to handle complicated processes
  • Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently
  • Proficient with MS office applications (Outlook, Excel)
  • Meticulous and possess good organizational skills.
  • Able to interact comfortably with internal stakeholders
