Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced engineer for a contract role in LNG projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years in the oil/gas industry, with 5 years in a lead position. Responsibilities include ensuring technical accuracy in process design and stakeholder communication. A competitive salary of $7,000-8,000 is offered, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years in similar lead role in major onshore LNG or FSRU terminal & oil/gas projects.
• Proven capability to independently handle process simulations and calculations.

Job description

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in the oil/gas industry LNG projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major on shore LNG or FSRU terminal & oil/gas projects.
• Must have experience in material selection/specialization
• Full involvement and contribution in design, engineering, P&IDs reviews, HAZOP, and other safety reviews & workshops is absolutely essential. Also, must be capable of ensuring actions are recorded appropriately and that action closure is carried out and documented
• Must have the proven capability to independently handle process simulations and calculations, interface with vendor’s as required and prepare optimization reports where necessary.
• Ensure technical accuracy and quality of process design and deliverables on projects.
• Communicate and support Company with external stakeholders including industry bodies, vendors, client interfaces.
• Ensure project Health and Safety, Environmental and QA procedures are followed during the execution of the project
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience

Location : Ubi/ Jurong Port

Salary: $7,000- 8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
