Expand feedstock processing capability in the Singapore refinery through improvement of PreTreatment and Heat Treatment production processes in mid and long-term, ensuring safety, high operational availability, productivity, utilization, efficiency and flexibility.
Responsible for the Basis of Design (BOD) and Unit Specific Tolerances (UST) defining the operating limits for the units in the area of responsibility.
Conduct test runs, identify bottlenecks, develop solutions and manage capital investments in the early phases of the project lifecycle.
Support operations in troubleshooting major process challenges and investigating high risk non-conformances.
Improve process safety by facilitating risk assessments, managing actions development and implementation.
Site wide competence management and development for the technologies in the area of responsibility.
As Singapore refinery representative in the Global Feedstock Processing team. Sharing and execution of best practices and common initiatives from Rotterdam and Porvoo refineries. Support process technology evaluation and development.
Technical support for the unit turnarounds including e.g shutdown, catalyst change out, investments and start-up.
B Sc. or higher degree in chemical engineering or relevant field and understanding of Renewable products chemical processing unit operations and engineering.
At least five years of work experience in process engineering and operations in the oil and gas, refining or petrochemical industry from pretreatment processes.
Experience on plant operations, test runs, unit startups and shutdowns and operations troubleshooting is considered as an advantage
Understanding and experience utilizing process models and simulations to support in plant optimization and troubleshooting
Good understanding of end-to-end feedstock value optimization in HVO processes
Know-how on waste water treatment technologies would be an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal and planning skills
Good ability to influence in global matrix organization with cultural awareness, performance-driven and active networking attitude
