A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to develop process design deliverables and support EPC projects. You will be responsible for performing process calculations, simulations, and coordinating with various disciplines to ensure compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience in oil & gas projects, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, and proficiency in process engineering software. We are seeking a Process Engineer to support the process design and engineering activities for oil & gas EPC projects. The role is responsible for developing process design deliverables, performing process calculations and simulations, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant process designs throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop process design deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process datasheets, and design calculations.
Perform process simulations, heat and material balance calculations, and equipment sizing.
Participate in and support HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and design review workshops.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and I&C disciplines to ensure integrated and operable designs.
Review vendor technical documents and provide process inputs during procurement activities.
Support construction, commissioning, and start-up activities, including troubleshooting process issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, codes, and project specifications (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of process engineering experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of process design, simulations, and safety studies.
Proficiency in process engineering software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II).
Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
