Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Private Equity Associate located in Singapore. The Associate will be instrumental in driving the success of our new fund, leveraging strong deal flows in AI, robotics, and related industries across APAC. The candidate will be involved in deal sourcing, conducting detailed due diligence on potential investments, and developing robust financial models to evaluate opportunities. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, execution capability, and relationship management to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead deal evaluation and execution, including financial modelling, valuation, and structuring
  • Manage due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors, consultants, and legal teams
  • Develop and present investment recommendations to senior management and investment committees
  • Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and co-investors
  • Oversee portfolio monitoring, including performance tracking, operational improvements, and exit strategies
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development
  • Contribute to fundraising activities, investor relations, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
  • 3-6 years experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or a related sector
  • Expertise in financial modeling and strong analytical skills for evaluating and structuring investments
  • Proven track record in deal execution and portfolio management
  • Strong understanding of market trends and economic indicators, and in particular across APAC markets and technology-driven industries
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in team settings
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotation and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
