Overview

Our client, a regional bank, is seeking an experienced and driven Execution Desk Team Lead to oversee a high-performing team responsible for multi-asset trade execution for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across Asia.

The ideal candidate will bring deep product expertise, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven leadership in trade execution. You will play a pivotal role in driving execution excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a regional execution team.
• Execute client orders across a full suite of capital markets products: FX, fixed income, equities, and derivatives.
• Ensure best execution standards and adherence to internal controls and compliance protocols.
• Monitor market conditions and support Relationship Managers with timely pricing and market color.
• Supervise trade booking accuracy and post-trade workflows.
• Serve as CMS Representative for Dealing in Capital Markets Products under MAS requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Investment Advisors, RMs, and Compliance.
• Drive workflow optimization, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 15-20 years years of relevant experience in execution trading, preferably within private banking or institutional wealth.
• Strong understanding of FX, bonds, equities, and derivative products.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring trading or execution teams.
• MAS-licensed or eligible as a CMS Representative for Dealing in Capital Markets Products.
• Required CMFAS modules: M1B, M5, M6, M6A, FMRP.
• Familiarity with trading systems such as Bloomberg, FXall, Avaloq, Murex, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
