Principal Lead- Business Systems Analyst

As a Principal Lead- Business Systems Analyst at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be responsible for researching and determining the clients" needs to identify the features to include on products. You will pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders and act as the primary contact between scrum teams, product development departments, and stakeholders. Collaborating closely with both the scrum and product development departments, you will ensure that the products meet specific objectives outlined by stakeholders and clients. Your duties will involve overseeing the analysis and development of the company's business, including analyzing requirements, estimating costs, and establishing system protocols.Your key responsibilities will include implementing advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements, mastering strategic business process modeling techniques, managing a team of 4-5 members, and mentoring/guiding them. You will estimate work effort, assist the Project Manager/Scrum Master with task planning, lead cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver solutions, assess business process and system inefficiencies, and identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will recommend and institute best practices, take a leading role in analysis and development coordination, and actively participate in the Agile/SCRUM development process.You will also be responsible for creating detailed functional design documentation, maintaining relevant test cases based on specifications, defining test scenarios, performing non-regression analysis, and participating in second-line support for the product. Additionally, you will produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents, thoroughly document business processes, produce training plans and Knowledge Base documents, map as-is and to-be processes, and troubleshoot issues.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a software development environment with an emphasis on system analysis, relevant experience in the financial industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in JIRA or similar work management tools, experience with Scrum processes and ceremonies, strong knowledge of business information data sources, and relational databases are required.
