Job description

Our client is an international school offering both IGCSE curriculum and preschool services. Due to planned leave of absence among other academic staff, it is seeking for several trained relief preschool teachers (English, Chinese Language or Assistant Teacher) with ECDA recognized qualification for a period of up to 3 months

Job Responsibilities

• Organize, oversee and carry out the class's plan that aligns with the center's framework, policies, philosophy and guidelines
• Help in the planning and execution of the programs for children
• Create instructional tools that are age and developmentally appropriate
• Assess and keep track of your children's progress
• Administer basic first aid when required
• Responsible for maintaining educational materials, preparing art and craft supplies, as well as the classroom's organization, look, furnishings, and educational environment
• Adopt positive disciplinary tactics at all times
• Maintain and strengthen bonds with children and their parent

Requirements

• Qualification:
• Teacher: DECCE-T or equivalent
• Assistant Teacher: Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education-T or ACEY
• Locations: Orchard, Upper Bukit Timah, Novena, Thomson, Jurong
• With loving energy, be creative and inspirational
• Prior experience in preschool teaching is required
• Understanding of educational development
• Singaporeans only
