Job Description:

• Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles.
• Plan lessons that cater to the varying skill levels of students, ensuring a balance between structure and flexibility.
• Effectively teach students how to use them to express their ideas and emotions.
• Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills - drawing, painting, sculpting, and other art forms.
• Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and collaboration among students.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure lesson consistency and to share best practices.
• Ensure a safe and orderly art classroom environment, following appropriate safety guidelines and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.
• Engage children in lessons, ensuring activities are fun and age-appropriate.
• Design and develop creative and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the centre’s curriculum and art focus.

Requirements:

• Previous experience teaching art to students of various age groups (2.5-5 YO) and skill levels.
