A leading IT service provider in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technical professional for customer engagement in IT monitoring solutions. The role involves leading implementations, tailoring solutions for customer infrastructures, and ensuring effective onboarding and training. Ideal candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong networking knowledge, and analytical skills. Exposure to cloud technologies and scripting is a plus. This position is based in the Shenton Way Area, requiring some travel for client projects.
This is a hands-on, technical position. The key responsibilities for this position are:
Lead post-sale implementation, configuration, and integration of IT monitoring software solutions.
Work closely with customers to understand their infrastructure (servers, networks, applications, cloud environments, etc.) and tailor deployments accordingly.
Assist in onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer to customer technical teams.
Develop and document best practices, integration guides, and monitoring templates.
Manage customer expectations through clear communication and proactive follow-up.
Identify product enhancement opportunities and relay feedback to internal teams.
3-5 years of experience working in IT technical post-sales, implementation, or systems engineering role with B2B IT support.
Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and infrastructure monitoring.
Must be interested in working in a customer support and customer engagement role.
Must be interested in learning new technologies and applying them to solve real world problems.
Must have good analytical problem-solving skills.
Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies and web applications is a plus.
Exposure to any scripting technology (batch/Unix shell/Power shell) is a plus
Exposure to cloud architecture, Containers, DevOps is a plus
Exposure to Citrix, VMware, and other virtualization technologies is a plus.
Prior experience with enterprise monitoring tools is a plus.
Must be ambitious, competitive, energetic; should be a results-oriented team player.
Must be willing to travel to different customer places and work on multiple projects concurrently.
