FootballPlus is a purpose-driven football organisation using high-quality coaching and structured development systems to transform the lives of young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through our flagship programmes, including Champions Unlimited and STAY IN THE GAME, we work in our academy, schools, and communities to build not just better footballers, but stronger, more confident, and more resilient young people.
We are seeking a Player Development & Impact Manager to lead the holistic development, tracking, and support of players across all FootballPlus programmes.
This role sits at the heart of our mission, connecting on-field football, off-field wellbeing, school engagement, and impact measurement into one integrated youth development system.
The Player Development & Impact Manager is responsible for ensuring that every child in FootballPlus, whether in our academy, mental-health programmes, or school-based coaching, is properly supported, actively progressing, and meaningfully impacted.
You will be part of a team to oversee the FootballPlus Player Performance & Impact Framework, ensuring that football performance, mental wellbeing, character, and school engagement are tracked, supported, and developed in a coordinated way.
This is both a leadership and delivery role, combining coaching, systems management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
Lead and implement the FootballPlus Player Performance & Impact Matrix across:
Champions Unlimited
STAY IN THE GAME
School-based coaching programmes
Develop and maintain Individual Player Development Plans (IPDPs) for academy players and targeted participants
Track progress in football, behaviour, wellbeing, and school engagement
Identify at-risk players and design appropriate intervention and support plans
Work with coaching teams to ensure that training content, session design, and behaviour standards align with development goals
Provide on-field coaching in academy and school programmes (up to 5 sessions per week)
Support STAY IN THE GAME facilitators to integrate mental-health, character, and reflection components into football delivery
Act as the main liaison between FootballPlus, schools, families, and community partners on player development matters
Conduct feedback, review, and progress conversations with parents, teachers, and school leaders
Support children facing challenges in behaviour, attendance, or wellbeing, coordinating help where needed
Coordinate and support coaches, volunteers, mentors, and facilitators across all FootballPlus programmes
Ensure safeguarding, communication, and development standards are consistently applied
Provide clarity on roles, expectations, and player development priorities
Produce player progress and programme impact reports for management, funders, and school partners
Provide data and insight to strengthen programme design, funding proposals, and reporting
Contribute to the continuous improvement of FootballPlus’ youth development model
The Player Development & Impact Manager will be evaluated against the following measurable outcomes:
≥80% of academy players show measurable improvement in at least 3 of 4 domains (football, behaviour, wellbeing, school engagement) within 12 months
≥90% of Champions Unlimited players have up-to-date Individual Player Development Plans (IPDPs)
Reduction in behavioural or attendance issues among targeted players by at least 25% year-on-year
≥90% of training sessions across programmes delivered in alignment with FootballPlus development standards
Positive coach evaluations (average rating ≥4/5) on alignment to development framework
Successful integration of STAY IN THE GAME curriculum into at least 90% of planned sessions
≥85% of families engaged in at least two development touch points per year
Positive feedback from school partners (≥4/5 satisfaction)
Improved attendance, behaviour, or engagement in school for at least 70% of targeted players
≥90% retention of active coaches and key volunteers
All staff and volunteers trained in FootballPlus safeguarding and development protocols
Clear role alignment and compliance with programme standards
100% of players included in FootballPlus tracking and reporting system
Quarterly impact reports delivered on time to management and funders
Evidence-based insights used to improve programmes and secure funding
You are someone who can stand confidently on the football pitch, in a school meeting, and in front of funders.
You should bring:
A background in Sports Science, Sport Management, Youth Development, Education, or a related field
A valid football coaching licence (FAS, AFC, UEFA, or equivalent)
Experience working with children and youth in football, schools, or development programmes
Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders with professionalism and empathy
Comfort working with data, frameworks, and development plans
A genuine commitment to working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds
You will be helping to build one of Singapore’s most structured and values-driven football-based youth development systems, with real influence over:
How children are supported

How football is used as a tool for life transformation
This is a career-defining role for someone who wants to combine high-performance sport, youth development, and social impact in one platform.
