A leading consulting firm in Singapore seeks a Maintenance Technician to organize and execute maintenance work on plating equipment. Candidates must hold a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines and have over three years of experience. Effective communication and ability to work independently are essential. The role involves shift work in a rotation of 12-hour shifts across four days a week.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of working experience in maintenance environment.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
• Willing to overtime when required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Organize the maintenance schedule for all equipment in Plating
• Carry out installation and modification of machines and equipment
• Carry out all general maintenance work on plating line equipment, i.e. motor, pump, rectifier, etc.
• Carry out general electrical works, repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of machines and equipment
• Liaise with vendor to do repair on equipment or process, cleanness
• Purchase components and spare parts related to electrical and control items to minimize the cost
• Daily / periodic check, record and feedback all plating equipment for continuous operation
• Support DI/waste treatment operation

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical
• More than 3 years of working experience in maintenance environment
• Able to read electrical drawing and Autocad experience
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
• Able to communicate effectively
• Willing to overtime when required

Working hours

Shift work, 2 shifts, 12 hours rotation (4 days work week)
