Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and develop plant maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime
  • Evaluate production activities, inspect plant equipment, and prepare related reports
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules and SOP improvements
  • Support mechanical integrity through interdepartmental coordination
  • Conduct audits and inspections on maintenance programs
  • Recommend training programs and support workshop administration
  • Coordinate fabrication/modification of tools and inspect quality of repairs and new equipment
  • Plan short- and long-term maintenance goals within budget
  • Assist with yard reports, cost savings, inventory monitoring, and requisitions
  • Provide admin support to mechanics and update superiors on daily operations and issues

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2–5 years' relevant experience (senior role for more experienced candidates)
  • Skilled in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery
  • Familiar with diagnostics, mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with multiple equipment types is a plus
  • Able to troubleshoot and recommend repairs independently
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently

Working Schedule: 5.5 Days (Monday to Saturday), Alternate Saturdays

Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Mon-Fri), 8.30 – 12.30 (Sat)

Working Location: Singapore Yard
