Job summary

A logistics management company in Singapore is seeking an individual to plan in-house drivers' schedules and coordinate shipping arrangements. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. They will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction while addressing inquiries and issues. This position requires a minimum of GCE N/O Level or Diploma and experience in a related field.

Job Description
  • Planning of in house drivers' schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with in house drivers and promptly addressing and resolving issues to minimize delays.
  • Coordinate shipping arrangement with internal and external customers, suppliers, transport company and shipping forwarder.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Negotiate and select the rate with shipping line, freight forwarder and transport company.
  • Liaise and assist in customers and suppliers enquires.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer satisfaction with quick response time to all customers inquires, including timely handling follow up on quotations, orders, backorders and customer complaints.
  • Proactively update customer on status of enquires.
  • Handle invoice discrepancies in a timely manner to support sales as well accounts in accounts receivables.
  • Preparing purchase order and liaise closely with suppliers.
  • Assisting to source new competitive quote from suppliers.
  • Executing expertise in cost comparisons to meet the Operations' requirement with the interest of company in terms of quality and service
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE N/O Level or Diploma or proven working experience in the related field.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to start within a short notice would be preferred.
