Job summary

A national land use planning authority in Singapore is seeking a candidate to develop and manage learning programmes related to urban planning. The role involves curating interactive digital content, engaging with stakeholders, and hosting delegations interested in Singapore's urban strategies. Qualifications

What the role is

The URA Academy seeks to develop urban planning excellence within URA and in the planning industry, through training programmes, industry engagement and sharing, developing L&D content, and knowledge management.

What you will be working on
  • Develop learning plans, curate and organise learning programmes, training courses, talks, seminars to strengthen professional competencies in URA and in the industry;
  • Develop new learning programmes and content, including multi‑media and interactive digital learning content;
  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to curate and develop the learning programmes;
  • Monitor training progress, manage training records, and support other administrative, finance and procurement functions required as part of your work;
  • Host, brief and interact with local and overseas delegations who would like to learn about Singapore’s urban planning experience;
  • You may also be involved in managing and maintaining digital platforms and content to facilitate seamless learning and knowledge sharing, including piloting new technologies and tools.
What we are looking for
  • Degree in urban planning or relevant disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in or familiarity with urban planning or learning and development work.
  • Good written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint), and able to use business intelligence tools such as Power BI to create dashboards and interactive data visualisation.
  • Experience in developing and managing multi‑media and interactive digital learning content would also be useful.
  • Passion for learning and interest in keeping up to date with new digital tools and learning technologies, including AI‑enabled ones.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Note: This is a 1‑year contract position, and further extension will be dependent on work performance.
