A national land use planning authority in Singapore is seeking a candidate to develop and manage learning programmes related to urban planning. The role involves curating interactive digital content, engaging with stakeholders, and hosting delegations interested in Singapore's urban strategies. Candidates should possess a degree in urban planning, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. This is a 1-year contract position, subject to performance evaluation.
The URA Academy seeks to develop urban planning excellence within URA and in the planning industry, through training programmes, industry engagement and sharing, developing L&D content, and knowledge management.
Note: This is a 1‑year contract position, and further extension will be dependent on work performance.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s national land use planning authority. URA prepares long term strategic plans, as well as detailed local area plans, for physical development, and then co‑ordinates and guides efforts to bring these plans to reality. Prudent land use planning has enabled Singapore to enjoy strong economic growth and social cohesion, and ensures that sufficient land is safeguarded to support continued economic progress and future development.
