Candidates should have graduated from an accredited PA program, possess high-quality PA competencies, and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. The ideal candidate must work flexible hours as needed.

Major Function

Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and assessment services to clients and companies. Will manage acute and chronic conditions, provide education and disease prevention. In addition, provide preoperative and postoperative instructions on surgery planning/preoperative preparation/postoperative precautions and expectations. Triage patient calls during and after business hours.

Qualification

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of PA and certified for practicing PA in NJ.
• Experience: High quality PA competence and advanced leadership skills.
• Certification/Licensure: Certified for Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current registration with NJ State Board of PA. BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work day, night, and weekend hours as needed.
