Job description

Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Petroleum Product Operations Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare deal contracts and manage negotiations with counterparties.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and operational obligations arising from contracts.
  • Oversee cargo and vessel operations, including documentation and bunkering processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, surveyors, ship brokers, agents, and bunker sellers for timely shipments.
  • Monitor vessel movements for timely deliveries to receivers.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the cargo shipment process.
  • Manage trade finance matters, including Letters of Credit.
  • Address claims, focusing on aspects such as demurrage calculation and negotiation.
  • Prepare pricing, invoices, and monitor associated payments.
  • Accurately enter all operational information into the trading systems.
  • Maintain carbon-related documentation and support renewable energy audits.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in bulk cargo operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a solid sense of urgency.
  • Professional and approachable, fostering positive working relationships.
