About Us:

Pawkit is a fast-growing pet tech company dedicated to providing seamless and stress-free pet care solutions, including housecall grooming, veterinary services, pet sitting, and nursing care.

We are looking for a Pet Care Assistant to support our veterinary nursing and administrative operations, ensuring top-quality care for pets while managing daily operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical & Pet Care Support:

  • Assist vet/nurses and caregivers in handling pets during medical procedures such as blood draw, medication administration, and basic nursing care. (on job training)
  • Ensure proper restraint and safe handling of pets, especially dogs and cats, to minimize stress during procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of medical tools and supplies.
  • Support housecall services by preparing necessary medical equipment and assisting with logistics.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Manage scheduling and coordination of housecall services.
  • Maintain and track inventory of medical supplies and pet care equipment.
  • Update and organize records, SOPs, and customer inquiries.
  • Assist with customer service-related tasks, including answering queries from pet owners.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Some experience in animal handling (e.g., pet care, vet clinic, shelter work) or a strong willingness to learn.
    Administrative or event coordination experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all temperaments.
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
    Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Possession of a Class 3A driving license is mandatory.
