Job Description

The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving data-led growth across NUS MBA programmes' digital marketing channels. This role owns the planning, execution oversight, optimisation, and performance management of paid media and digital platforms, ensuring that marketing investments translate into high-quality leads and applications. This role acts as the core link between marketing strategy and execution performance, working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to continuously improve campaign effectiveness, conversion, and ROI.

Paid Media and Channel Performance
  • Manage and oversee external digital agencies across paid search, paid social, display and retargeting.
  • Translate campaign objectives into clear media briefs, performance targets and optimisation priorities.
  • Review and analyse campaign performance regularly, ensuring cost efficiency and lead quality.
  • Recommend budget allocation and re-allocation based on performance insights.
Website, SEO and Conversion Optimisation
  • Own website performance from a marketing perspective, including content and landing page effectiveness, user journey and funnel conversion, SEO fundamentals and traffic quality.
  • Work with internal and external partners on website updates and revamps, SEO improvements, CRO and A/B testing initiatives.
Marketing Performance and Analytics
  • Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards and reports.
  • Track and analyse the full funnel (traffic → leads → applications → enrolments).
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to the Marketing AD and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.
Campaign and Platform Optimisation
  • Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns across programmes and markets.
  • Ensure strong integration between paid media, website, content and CRM journeys.
  • Partner closely with the Content Marketing Specialist and Program Leads to ensure creative and messaging effectiveness in driving performance.
Stakeholder and Agency Management
  • Act as the day-to-day marketing performance contact for agencies and internal teams.
  • Ensure timely execution, quality control, and performance accountability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of digital marketing processes and best practices.
Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in digital / performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media (search and social), either in-house or agency-side.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics and marketing performance metrics, website optimisation and SEO fundamentals, marketing funnels and conversion optimisation.
  • Comfortable working with data, dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Experience managing external vendors/agencies is highly preferred.
  • Analytical and performance-driven mindset.
  • Strong execution discipline and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
