Job summary

A leading electronics firm in Singapore is looking for a PCB Design Engineer to develop printed circuit board designs that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will have a background in Electronics Engineering and at least 2 years of experience working with PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, or Altium. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to participate in design reviews for quality assurance. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative electronics projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant.
• Minimum of 2 years experience on PCB design with relevant tools.
• Minimum of 5 years of PCB Design Experience for senior position.

Responsibilities

• Develop printed circuit board designs based on customer requirements.
• Ensure effective communication with customers for project completion.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality design output.
• Generate data required for the fabrication and testing of PCBs.
• Follow change process to communicate scope changes to Project Managers.

Job description

Roles

• Develop printed circuit board designs which satisfies the customer's requirements and follow customer’s established DFX guidelines
• Demonstrate effective communication independently with customers to ensure effective completion of project objectives
• Participate in design reviews for customer projects to ensure quality design output
• Generate all data required for the fabrication, assembly, and test of printed circuit boards to aid in the downstream processes
• Follow the scope change process to identify, control, document and communicate scope changes in a timely manner to Project Managers where applicable

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant.
• Preferably 2 years of experience on PCB design with Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, PADS or Altium
• Minimum 5 years of PCB Design Experience for senior position.
