SUMMARY:

This position requires hands‑on expertise in hardware troubleshooting, software diagnostics, and system optimization, as well as strict adherence to repair protocols and quality assurance standards. You will collaborate closely with team members, maintain accurate service records, oversee inventory needs, and provide clear communication and recommendations to customers. A strong commitment to professionalism, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction is essential for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair & Upgrade Workflow Management
  • Prioritize urgent cases and ensure timely turnaround
  • Manage all incoming repair and upgrade requests
Technical Repair & Diagnostics
  • Resolve any hardware failures, software issues, BIOS configurations, and compatibility concerns
  • Review diagnostics for hardware faults, operating system issues or performance bottlenecks
Teamwork & Operations
  • Stay up to date with the latest in PC hardware, software troubleshooting methods, and trends
  • Maintain clear and effective communication among team members
  • Uphold repair protocols and escalation processes
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all repaired or upgraded systems are tested, stress‑checked, and cleaned before return
  • Oversee quality assurance process for repaired or newly built systems before handover
  • Maintain clear records of work done and parts used
Inventory & Reporting
  • Purchasing of repair inventory, spare parts, and tools; flag low stock or special‑order needs
  • Maintain service logs and compile monthly reports on repair trends and customer feedback
Customer Service & Support
  • Liaise with customers regarding repair status, diagnostics findings, and service recommendations
  • Provide expert advice on repair feasibility, upgrade options, and system optimizations
  • Maintain high standard of professionalism, transparency, and customersatisfaction
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Physically able to handle transport of desktop systems and equipment
  • Preferably experience in PC assembly, IT Technical support, or a related field
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
