Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore seeks a Payroll Analyst to handle payroll processing, ensure compliance, and provide employee support. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in payroll analysis, preferably in Singapore. Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to data integrity are essential for this role. The position offers a competitive salary of up to $6,000/month.

Job description

Location: Novena
Salary Range: Up to $6,000/month
Working hour: 5 days office hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing
    • Consolidate, validate, and submit payroll inputs to vendors (e.g., new hire registration, pay codes, shifts)
    • Validate gross-to-net outputs from vendors to ensure accuracy & compliance
    • Ensure timely payments to employees & statutory bodies
    • Provide relevant documents to employees, and manage deregistration processes
    • Stay updated on local legislation
  • Employee Support
    • Address payroll-related inquiries (including onboarding support) in a timely, professional manner
  • Reporting & Audit
    • Submit statutory and internal payroll reports as required
    • Support audit activities and maintain compliance with SOX & internal policies
    • Assist with reconciliation of payroll-related GL accounts
  • SOP & Documentation
    • Maintain and update payroll SOPs
    • Support creation of communication materials and knowledge base articles
  • Cross-Functional Support
    • Work with HR, Finance, and external vendors across Singapore and Malaysia
    • Provide data validation and reports for the Singapore plant (not full payroll)
Requirements
  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Computer Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll analysis
  • Hands-on payroll experience in Singapore preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Meticulous with numbers and data integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
