Mr Bucket Chocolaterie is a Singapore craft chocolate brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully made chocolates using sustainably sourced cacao from the region. From bean to bar, we focus on craftsmanship, transparency, and celebrating the origins of our cacao partners. Our retail cafés and chocolate experiences are designed to inspire curiosity, joy, and appreciation for quality craft products.
As we expand our offerings, our bakery program plays an important role in complementing our chocolate creations and elevating the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Menu Creation & Product Innovation
- Lead the production of baked goods that complement Mr Bucket’s chocolate-forward identity, including artisanal breads, and café-style pastries.
- Develop and roll out seasonal bakery menus that align with Mr Bucket’s brand philosophy and franchise standards.
- Innovate new products that pair well with our chocolate collections and enhance the overall customer experience.
2. Bakery Operations & Quality Control
- Oversee daily bakery operations, from mise en place to final bake and presentation.
- Ensure all products meet Mr Bucket’s standards of freshness, consistency, and craftsmanship.
- Monitor food safety, hygiene compliance, and workflow efficiency within the bakery team.
3. Financial & Inventory Management
- Collaborate with management to plan product pricing and manage cost control strategies.
- Oversee ingredient ordering, inventory levels, and minimise wastage through accurate forecasting.
- Build reliable partnerships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients that align with Mr Bucket’s commitment to quality.
4. Customer Experience & Brand Representation
- Ensure bakery offerings deliver a premium, thoughtful, and memorable experience for every guest.
- Engage customers when required to introduce new items, gather feedback, or share the story behind our bakes.
- Represent Mr Bucket’s brand values through professionalism, passion for craft, and service excellence.
5. Collaboration & Additional Duties
- Partner closely with operations, marketing, and the chocolate team for product launches and brand campaigns.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement, new concepts, and overall brand growth.
- Perform any additional duties as required by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of baking or pastry production experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or head baker role.
- Strong foundation in artisanal bread-making, viennoiserie, and pastry techniques.
- Experience in high-volume café, bakery, or production settings preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs.
- A team player with good communication, leadership skills, and a passion for craft-driven products.
