A prominent VC fund is seeking a Partner to lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relations in Singapore. This role involves driving fundraising for upcoming funds, specifically targeting over $200M, and cultivating relationships with various institutional investors. Candidates should possess a master's in finance or business and have significant experience in successful fundraising within the PE/VC landscape. Our client is an incredibly exciting VC fund that's investing in early-stage technology companies across Southeast Asia and India. They have closed two funds successfully and well on their way for their third & fourth fund raise. As part of their growth strategy, they are looking for someone to manage their existing institutional LPs and lead follow on fund raising. The Partner, VC role is a newly created role aimed at driving the success of the upcoming funds.
Reporting to the Managing Partner for the funds, this role is required to lead fundraising efforts for an upcoming fund (e.g., $200M+). In addition, you must identify and cultivate relationships with institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, endowments etc. You will lead deal negotiations, provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the fund. This position requires strong industry expertise, a robust network, and the ability to identify and nurture innovative businesses.
