Job summary

A student care organization in Singapore is seeking a committed Student Care Teacher to supervise primary school children, ensuring their homework completion and safety. Candidates should possess a minimum diploma and preferably WSQ Student-Care Certification. Effective communication in English and Chinese is preferred as guidance on Chinese subjects is required. This role involves interacting with parents about children's progress and providing nurturing support in their learning process.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Able to commit 2-3 fixed days a week (3 - 4 hrs each day)
• Supervising primary school children to ensure completion of daily homework
• Ensure the safety of students at the student center
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and behaviour
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by the Centre Head

Requirements (Student Care Teacher)

• Minimum diploma and above / WSQ Student-Care Certified preferred
• Able to guide primary school subjects.
• Possess excellent work ethics and integrity
• Exhibit a positive attitude when faced with challenges
• Love children and the learning process
• Have experience in teaching children, preferably at the primary level
• Possess a passion for nurturing children
• Experience in working with children preferred. Those without experience may also apply as training will be provided.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese language, as there is a need to guide them on Chinese subjects (Preferred)
