The Role – Paralegal (Full‑Time)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a high‑performing team with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging professional services work atmosphere. As a Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in our team. We offer a vibrant and culturally diverse work environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Legal Research & Legal Analysis: Conducting thorough legal research, assisting in the analysis of case facts and legal precedents to develop case strategies and arguments.
  • Document Preparation: Drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and opinions.
  • Client Communication: Communicating with clients and insureds to obtain necessary information, provide updates on case status, attending meetings, interviewing witnesses with lawyers.
  • Case Management: Organising and maintaining case files, including correspondence, cause papers, and evidence. Managing the case calendar and deadlines to ensure timely filings and responses.
  • Court Filings/ Trial Preparation: Assisting lawyers in preparing for trials and hearings.
  • Administrative Support: Performing administrative tasks such as maintaining case file, support in billing process, and coordinating with other office staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Diploma in Law & Management or similar qualifications
  • Alternatively, have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, preferably with exposure to insurance work
  • Proficiency in workplace technology tools, including Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), case management systems and electronic communication platforms
  • Proficiency with e‑Litigation preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore legal system and Court procedures
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
