Key Responsibilities

• Promote Straits Financial and its products and services
• Develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth
• Broker energy products with a focus on pricing accuracy, liquidity, and efficient execution
• Analyse energy markets, price movements, and volatility to support trading and hedging decisions
• Monitor positions, exposures, and market developments in real time
• Ensure accurate trade capture, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Support AML/KYC onboarding processes and attend required regulatory training
• Contribute to product development, market expansion, and trading strategy discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 year in commodity/energy broking or derivatives preferred
• OR
• Polytechnic Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking and finance or work experience on bank dealing floors
• Ideally licensed to trade futures/securities in Singapore (CMFAS Modules 2A and/or 6A preferred)
• Strong client relationship management skills, including business development and client servicing
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in Mandarin required due to client base
• Team-oriented, energetic, and willing to work extended hours when required
