We're Hiring: Operations Support!
Role Overview

We are looking for an Operations Support Specialist to provide day-to-day operational and infrastructure support for a data-intensive analytics platform. This role involves ensuring platform stability, managing application production support, and delivering exceptional end-user assistance. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in supporting complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for a large-scale, data-intensive analytics platform.
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Handle application production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Deliver end-user support, addressing queries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, including SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in operations support for analytics platforms or enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, databases, networking) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred).
  • Familiarity with data platforms and related technologies (SQL, ETL tools, big data frameworks).
  • Hands‑on experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment (rotational shifts if required).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
