What you'll do

As Business Operations and Supply Chain Manager Southeast Asia you will play a central role in shaping the operational landscape of the region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with direct reports across multiple countries to deliver outstanding results in customer service excellence, material management optimisation, logistics network efficiency, supplier relationship building, digital transformation initiatives—including AI integration—and sustainability project implementation. Success in this role requires you to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on engagement: you will guide teams through change‑management processes while maintaining rigorous standards for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. By leveraging your analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and drive continuous improvement plans forward—always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront—you will help create an environment where operational targets are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Oversee all aspects of Customer Service, Material Management, Logistics (including warehouse/3PL operations) across Southeast Asia to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Lead forecasting quality initiatives, develop local stocking strategies, and make informed make/buy decisions to optimise procurement planning and inventory health.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regional and headquarters standards for material management while driving process harmonisation and continuous improvement projects throughout the region.
  • Manage inbound logistics, warehousing (both in‑house and third‑party), outbound distribution channels, contract negotiations with 3PL providers, and cost optimisation efforts.
  • Champion customer satisfaction by developing high‑performing Customer Service teams that handle inquiries efficiently, resolve escalations promptly, maintain accurate master data in SAP/CRM systems, and support inside sales activities.
  • Guide the transition of Customer Service functions into a digital‑first era by implementing AI‑driven solutions and fostering digital adoption across Southeast Asia.
  • Select, negotiate with, audit, and evaluate third‑party converters and suppliers to build transparent relationships that meet quality compliance requirements.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives by reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, minimising carbon footprint across all operational areas while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
What you bring

To excel as Business Operations and Supply Chain Manager Southeast Asia you will bring extensive experience from senior supply chain or logistics roles where you have successfully led multi‑country teams through significant change programmes. Your background includes deep familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems—especially SAP modules relevant to material management/distribution—as well as CRM tools used for customer data governance. You possess advanced analytical skills that enable you to interpret key performance indicators accurately while steering corrective actions based on emerging trends. A passion for continuous learning drives your interest in adopting new technologies—particularly digitalisation/AI solutions—that enhance operational efficiency without compromising quality or safety standards.   • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics engineering or related field is required
  • At least ten years' experience in supply chain management or logistics leadership roles within complex multinational environments is essential
  • Demonstrated expertise in people leadership with proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams across different cultures while fostering collaboration
  • Track record of driving operational optimisation projects using digital tools such as SAP (MM/SD/LE), CRM platforms (APO/OMP or similar), Esker or tesaPRO systems.
  • Experience managing warehouses—including third‑party logistics providers—and overseeing international logistics operations with knowledge of FTAs/COO regulations preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with stakeholder management capabilities that facilitate consensus‑building among internal/external partners.
  • Advanced planning abilities supported by strong prioritisation techniques allow you to organise resources effectively under changing circumstances.
