Job description

Operations Manager – Liquid Strategies

• Manage portfolio valuation, trade processing, settlements and matching on daily basis
• Manage and resolve daily trade breaks with brokers, fund admins and custodians
• Perform reconciliations (cash, position, trade) on daily, weekly, monthly basis
• Act as the key representative of the funds to fund administrator, prime brokers, auditors, investor administration
• Work with fund administrator to review Net Assets Values, Performance Returns, and other fund accounting output on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Manage subscriptions and redemptions in the funds
• Preparation of financial statements and liaise with external auditors on year‑end audit
• Review of fund expenses to ensure proper classification and allocations. This would include analysing and reporting of fund expenses run rate
• Processing fund invoices for settlement
• Assist with prospective investor onboarding, investors’ due diligence and enquiries on a timely basis
• Monitor the compliance, risk, and controls function by working closely with service providers
• Assist the Group COO in reporting to local regulators

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund administration from and fund/asset manager of fund administrator
• Minimum bachelor’s degree and/or graduate/post graduate accreditations in finance
• Excellent understanding of multi asset class market instruments with an Asian focus
• A focused mindset on attention to detail
• An appetite to learn and grow with an expanding business
