Qualifications

  • At least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mall management or related field.
  • Experience in property management or facility management in a retail environment is advantageous.

Job description

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our shopping malls and offices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mall management and a proven track record of success in leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the mall management team, ensuring the smooth functioning of all operations
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the malls
  • Monitor and control operating expenses, develop and maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Prepare periodic mall performance report for the Management
  • Coordinate operation programs, asset improvement work, tenants and operational support for the mall
  • Coordinate and work with the Marketing colleagues to execute the mall’s promotion and events
  • Involve in building improvement / A&A / Fitting out / defect rectification works
  • Monitor and manage the performance of contracts for compliance to the agreed service levels
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance works
  • Attending site inspections, supervising and liaising with contractors on maintenance and renovation works in the mall
  • Ensure the safety and security of the malls and implement emergency response protocols as needed
  • Coordinate with tenants in reinstatement/renovation works and ensure they comply with specifications and building regulations
  • Attend to tenants’ feedbacks and liaise with tenants to maintain good tenant-landlord relationship
  • Perform other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor/management
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Building, Facilities Management, or equivalent
  • At least 10 years in a leadership role
  • At least 5 years of experience in mall management or related field
  • Experience in property management or facility management in shopping mall or retail environment will be an added advantage
  • Exhibit strong leadership, people management and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work within tight timelines, and is resourceful and systematic in resolving problems
