Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee governance, academic quality, and student services. This role ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, drives operational excellence, and provides strategic guidance to senior management. The Operations Manager will also act as the key liaison with external authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee governance structures and ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are properly followed.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on compliance, operations, and academic matters.
• Lead academic boards and approve curriculum, assessments, and examination materials.
• Manage examination processes and ensure academic integrity across admissions, scheduling, and lecturer deployment.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for academic and student services staff.
• Review departmental workplans, set KPIs, and monitor overall performance.
• Support staff training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend enhancements to teaching methods, curriculum offerings, and service quality.
• Serve as the main liaison with external authorities and ensure timely submissions and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree, postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in education management, operations, or academic administration.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and quality assurance in the education sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
