Job Description

Work location: Jurong, Jalan Tepong. Near Jurong Fishery Port.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be heading the Operations & Logistics Department. This includes taking charge of and heading the Productions Department and Warehousing, which are both under Operations & Logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Run, support & coordinate daily Ops and warehousing administration work and inventory and supplier orders processing
  • Communicate with suppliers, logistics and cargo partners in their orders, invoices, deliveries, collections planning and updates
  • Able to do inventory, stock lists, stock taking and operate the POS and Warehouse system.
  • Obtaining freight charges and raw materials charges
  • Handle and process enquiries and orders or stock processing
  • Receive invoices and review for accuracy, invoice matching, preparation of quotations and invoices, filing, data compilation etc when necessary.
  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned to you by your superior or Management
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years experience running an entire Operations Department.
  • Preferably strong experience in warehousing and managing warehouse team.
  • Preferably with own mode of transport.
  • Strong computer skills and Operating System skills.
  • Strong in MS Excel and Google Sheets is a must.
  • Team player with initiative and high level of dedication and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and proactive.
  • Able to cope well in a dynamic and challenging work environment as well as with stress and demanding work schedules.
  • Meticulous, highly motivated and well organized with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with an aptitude in problem-solving and able to complete tasks assigned on a timely basis.
  • Strong in MS Office and Computer Skills, especially Excel and Word, a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented and fluent when communicating with customers.
