  • Liaise with charterers to ensure smooth operations and maximise vessel performance.
  • Appoint port agents and verify invoices for cost-efficient operations.
  • Maintain strong service standards through operational accuracy.

Job Description

Raffles Tankers is seeking a Full-Time Operator/Operations Executive for an on-site role based in Singapore. The Operations Executive will manage day-to-day vessel operations, ensuring accurate documentation of vessel activities, earnings, and expenses. The role includes coordination with Vessels, Charterers, Brokers to facilitate smooth vessel operations, as well as identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency. Responsibilities also involve operational planning, proactive problem-solving, and effective resource management to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day vessel operations and ensure all activities comply with charter party terms and operational requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate voyages by working closely with Masters, agents, the chartering team, ship managers, owners, bunker suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and issue Letters of Indemnity (LOIs) in line with charter party conditions for both internal and external charters.
  • Liaise regularly with charterers to ensure smooth operations, minimise delays, and maximise vessel performance and commercial returns.
  • Appoint port agents, review port disbursement accounts, and verify third-party invoices to ensure accuracy and cost-efficient operations.
  • Maintain strong service standards by ensuring operational accuracy and proactive communication with agents, brokers, and the wider network.
