Job summary

A leading logistics firm in Singapore is looking for an Operations Supervisor to manage warehouse sites and supervise day-to-day operations. The role involves overseeing manpower, workflow, and coordination with service providers. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A knowledge of freight forwarding is an advantage. The working hours are from 9am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays, with a salary of up to $4,000 plus bonuses.

Job description

The Operations Supervisor is to manage warehouse sites and oversee day-to-day operations, manpower, workflow, and coordination with service providers.

Working hours: 9am to 6pm from Mon - Fri, 9am to 1pm (Sat)

Location: Tuas/ Gul Circle

Salary: up to $4,000 + Bonuses up to 3 months

Job Scope

• Assist in daily warehouse planning, physical operations, and completion of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Coordinate warehouse activities with team members and service providers.
• Ensure service providers conduct daily weighing scale checks and test weights.
• Help create space for inbound cargo, shift items, and monitor warehouse space availability.
• Conduct daily warehouse checks and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
• Compile and submit operational reports to the Customer Service team within deadlines.
• Print and scan work orders and reports for the Person-In-Charge.
• Liaise with internal operations teams on operational matters.
• Update inventory records.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.
