Job Summary

Job Summary Provide comprehensive nursing care in an oncology setting by assisting doctors, performing clinical procedures, and managing administrative tasks to support patient treatment and clinic operations within a structured 5-day workweek.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver general nursing care by assisting doctors with clinical procedures such as dressing wounds, administering injections, and collecting blood and specimens to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy, antibiotics, and other medications accurately to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Perform venipuncture and cannulation to facilitate diagnostic testing and treatment delivery.
  • Manage administrative duties including processing billing payments and scheduling patient appointments to maintain efficient clinic operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide coordinated patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to ensure understanding of treatment plans and foster a supportive care environment.
Required competencies and certifications
  • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board and possess at least a Diploma in Nursing to meet professional practice standards.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Experience in oncology nursing to contribute specialized knowledge in cancer patient care.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a hospital or clinic setting to demonstrate clinical proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate bilingually, with proficiency in Malay considered an advantage for patient engagement.

  • Work schedule: 5 days per week, office hours only, no shift work.
  • Location: Central – Orchard.
