Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Trading house looking to hire an oilseeds trader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Manage Oilseeds book to achieve volume and P&L targets for the company.
• Identify, negotiate and bring to fruition trade opportunities.
• Supply & Demand Analysis – Keep abreast of latest trends in production, consumption and imports, as well as their impact on balance sheet to ensure company retention and expansion of business lines.
• Observe the risks that the platform is taking on a daily basis and gain understanding of the risk-reward ratio for any particular trade, within market risk, counter party risk, quality risk, political risk etc.
• Role reports to Head of Grains and Oils

Key Qualifications / Experience

• BAA/BSC or MBA/MS in Economics/ACF, experience with specific oilseeds (like soybeans, canola, sunflower, or palm oil) and the trading of these commodities, including factors affecting supply and demand, processing, and distribution.
• Years of experience: 5+ years, with exposure to risk management and an understanding of the physical movement of oilseeds, including shipping, storage, and transportation
• Experience working in logistics or supply chain management within the agriculture or commodity sector will be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential.
• Role is to be located in Pakistan
