Occupational Health Compliance Specialist

Job Purpose
Oversee health services at the facility, including nursing consultations for minor ailments, first aid emergency treatment, occupational health, and hygiene. Manage medical benefits (outpatient and inpatient), medical check-ups, wellness initiatives, medical training, and the implementation of medical surveillance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the in-house clinic, providing primary medical care for common employee ailments.
- Lead the Company First Aiders team.
- Administer prompt first aid for injuries (e.g., chemical splashes, crush injuries, bruises).
- Manage work-related injuries per Company case management protocol.
- Oversee medical surveillance programs (Regulatory, GMP, Safety).
- Implement occupational health policies and procedures effectively.
- Collaborate with Line Management on employee fitness for work and return-to-work programs.
- Co-ordinate pre-employment medical check-ups arrangement and advise HR on new hires' health status.
- Provide basic health counselling to employees.
- Manage Occupational Health audits.
- Administer outpatient and inpatient medical benefits.
- Monitor global public health issues (e.g., COVID-19) and inform Senior Management of potential impacts.
- Conduct Occupational Health training sessions.
- Assist in the rollout of wellness programs.
Education Level
- GCE 'O' or 'A' Levels with credits in English.
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board.
Experience/Technical Skills
- State Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Occupational Health Nursing Certificate preferred.
- Up to 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in Occupational Health.
- Hospital experience in Accident & Emergency or Intensive Care Unit is advantageous.
- Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
