Job summary

A leading cloud infrastructure provider in Singapore is looking for an NPI Engineer to oversee New Product Introduction activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and project management abilities are essential. The role offers a salary of up to S$ 4600 plus bonuses, working Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards is preferred.

Job Title: NPI Engineer (New Product Introduction)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory on product launches, including packaging development.
  • Create and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for assembly processes.
  • Utilize and maintain Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP for production tracking and planning.
  • Understand and support server and rack assembly processes.
  • Participate in rack packaging design and improvements.
  • Drive or support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen activities.
  • Provide production support during mass production ramp-up.
  • Assist in internal and external ISO audits.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good project management and coordination abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards is preferred.
