Overview

Lead product improvements for Top quality defects during NPI Pilot run. Minimize yield loss and conformance to products’ specifications. Directly accountable for all quality and process related problems for the products under responsibility, championing or working with respective department representatives to address the issue within the given target deadline.

What You Will Do

• Improve Lead Time / Quality / Cost
• Lead product improvements for top quality defects during NPI Pilot run
• Minimize yield loss and ensure conformance to product specifications
• Initiate, recommend, investigate, trouble-shoot, and provide solutions and actions to prevent nonconformities relating to the products, process, and quality system
• Directly accountable for all quality and process related problems for the products under responsibility, champion, or work with respective department representatives to address the issue within the target deadline

DFM

• Provide feedback to DFM meetings for next incoming products to NPI Pilot Shop
• Work with PDE, DPE, AQP, and T to conduct DFM to ensure smooth launch for manufacturing

Supervision

• Provide coaching and supervision for Engineers, Specialists, Technicians & Operators to improve the quality system and achieve new product production yield and targets

NPI Operations

• Plan and train resources to run TTV machines in NPI meeting quality and output expectations
• Arrange space in NPI Pilot shop for TTV machines according to pipeline, coordinating with PJM and Automation
• Run TTV machines in NPI until Run at Rate, then transfer to production with defined transfer criteria
• Set up SAP and OPC to TTV requirements in advance before starting Run at NPI Pilot Shop
• Oversee NPI production scheduling, production control, and inventory control
• Implement project plans and schedules, tracking deadlines and budgets
• Meet production plans for both in-house and vendor (local or overseas) quality/process problems
• Liaise with PIC and DPE on output requirements
• Manage daily production output and operational efficiency
• Provide headcount to support production for NPI samples or quality issues as needed
• Ensure optimal machine and fixture utilization
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services per manufacturer guidelines
• New products – collaborate with PJM, DPE, Planner, Automation Engineer, Product Design Engineer, QA/AQP and Components Engineer to ensure release for manufacturing
• Ensure full qualification and oversee equipment transfer between entities as it relates to machine setup and production readiness
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, capacity, space requirements, and equipment layout
• Prepare production and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Compliance

• Comply with PBM Guiding Principles for the job carried out under responsibility
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
• Be involved in internal and external audits
• Ensure RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) compliance

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
