About the Role

We are looking for a motivated L1 to L1.5 Network Engineer to join our Network Operations team. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure to ensure smooth and reliable network services. The ideal candidate will have foundational network knowledge and a keen interest in growing their skills in network operations and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network systems and devices to identify and resolve incidents promptly.
  • Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of network issues across LAN, WAN, VPN, and basic routing/switching environments.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers while maintaining clear documentation of actions taken.
  • Assist in configuration and deployment of network equipment under supervision.
  • Support network change management and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to provide status updates.
  • Follow ITIL incident and problem management processes.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in network operations or related technical support roles.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Exposure to VPN, firewalls, and WAN technologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Certifications
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification (preferred but not mandatory).
